Let’s get mystical
This great video is the trailer for the film “Let’s Get Mystical”. Produced by the collective Mutiny Bikes, the best riders in BMX are filmed in the most beautiful places in the world by Joe Simon. The trailer looks promising.
Careful, there’s an octopus there!
The Nevercrew group of artists who specialize in paintings and illustrations have launched their new project. The week long project involved them spray-painting the majority of a pool. The final outcome speaks for itself. The skate-park is located in Switzerland and is home to the octopus named Big Pink.
Transparency Series
With similar aura to Fred Lebain, here are the series of photographs titled “Transparency” by Khristian Mendoza. The see-through captures gives the set a modern surreal feel to it. I feel as if the artist is trying to go against the stereotypical self-portraits while also not being dramatic.
