Google Office

Has the geek inside of you ever contemplated what it would be like to work for the greatest search engine to ever be built? Have you ever wondered what life behind those four colored doors is like? Surely their offices must be different to the ordinary, seeing as the majority of the internet is dependent on the company. Surely they must have gaming consoles in each cubicle along with a personal masseuse? One things for sure, they have amazing chefs that cook the finest of dishes, everyday. Did we forget to mention that they have bikes to transport you from office to office? Let’s not overlook the volleyball courts behind the cafeteria and the slides that take you from floor to floor. Think we’re messing about? Have a look for yourself.

Google.

Though Google has grown a lot since it opened in 1998, we still maintain a small company feel. At lunchtime, almost everyone eats in the office café, sitting at whatever table has an opening and enjoying conversations with Googlers from different teams. Our commitment to innovation depends on everyone being comfortable sharing ideas and opinions. Every employee is a hands-on contributor, and everyone wears several hats. Because we believe that each Googler is an equally important part of our success, no one hesitates to pose questions directly to Larry or Sergey in our weekly all-hands (“TGIF”) meetings – or spike a volleyball across the net at a corporate officer.

We are aggressively inclusive in our hiring, and we favor ability over experience. We have offices around the world and dozens of languages are spoken by Google staffers, from Turkish to Telugu. The result is a team that reflects the global audience Google serves. When not at work, Googlers pursue interests from cross-country cycling to wine tasting, from flying to frisbee.

As we continue to grow, we are always looking for those who share a commitment to creating search perfection and having a great time doing it.

Wow I would love to work there! I already loved Google, now I love them a little bit more!
  • These comments are so silly, If your a real designer or programmer, then you'll know that some times when your working on a project, it's diffecult to just stop, get up and take a break at a certain time. Focus=loseOfTime.timeFlys. I bet half those guys, sit up from the comp and notice 10 hours went by. If you don't love it, they won't last long any way. This isn't some thing you can do, and not love. It's a passion.

Are so silly this place . How much money do they earn ? I listened that is not much. Why they don´t sell the slide and save the money. They seem "luxurious slaves".

They make you to work 15 hours per day!.

Yes, you have free breakfast, lunch and dinner but serve at specific time so you should be around 7AM for breakfast, dinner at 8PM so you are in your office for 15-16 hours when your boss checks
    on you every hour!

There is nothing as free lunch!

    John
