When it comes to illustrators things can get a little cliché. Simon Cook, however, stands out like bacon amongst zombies. His work is humorous as well as intriguing. Former artistic director at Poke London and founder of Made in England, he now describes himself as an illustrator, designer, sock monster maker and occasional adventurer. He doesn’t just make frilly illustrations for people to appreciate over the internet. He has been designing a massive cookery and product showcase site for Philips. Stiching a London 2012 olympic mascot. Designing a series of t-shirts for a fashion label, doing some infographics for the BBC, designing a blog for Cadbury, Nokia and finally baking a cake!
