What’s different about these posts is that you have a voice about what goes into them. It’s not often you see great design come together with music so you can’t blame us for getting excited when we stumbled across Anthony Nickolson. Better known as Miquifaye, Nickolson is deeply rooted in the music industry. He has a discography that has been one of the most respected and sought after collections in dance music. He formed two Chicago based record labels called Circular Motion and Infinite Audio. Dam Funk known as Los Angeles’ “Ambassador of Boogie Funk”, has spent the past few years cultivating a music renaissance rooted in the early-’80s style known as Boogie, Modern Soul and Electro-Funk. This brilliant artwork is the result of the series “Alive Objects” playing with a combination of elements that represent two of the most popular musicians in Chicago and L.A scene, respectively.

Sig Vicious – Visualizations Vol. 1

Sig Vicious is a name you often see on our website simply because we love his work. You might remember him from his Disorder Type feature. Challenging the system and its copyright laws, some of Sig’s other personal projects include canvas prints of manipulated photographs or other captured imagery. From Jesus to pop cult icons, and everything in between. Nobody is safe! Refusing to limit his ideas to paper and ink, Sig rebelled against the masses and the often uninventive standards of 90’s graphic design. Sig began testing the limits of the modern standards and looking for new ways to break all rules. At the end of the millennium and 3 years of a successful career as a freelance graphic designer, Sig founded a boutique ad agency in Iceland that successfully won many
prestigious awards over the years of it’s operation.
