Interview with Jonathan Haggard
It’s been some time since we interviewed someone so today we present to you Jonathan Haggard. His work is unique and brilliant at the same time. We stumbled across Jonathan a week or so ago and noticed how original his art is. Piece after piece his work delivers with the utmost of quality. Typography seems to be a dominating factor in his work and that’s not a problem because when you can repeatedly display it in a beautiful manner it starts to become an obsession. For the fans. The problem with modern art is that most of it is just utter rubbish. Today, however, the French have come through to prove us wrong. The protagonist in the art is Icarus, a character in Greek mythology known commonly for his attempt to escape Crete by flight, which ends in a fall to his death. The genius behind such wonderful modern art is Baptiste Debombourg. He makes use of 35,000 staples to complete the piece which is presented on a wall. The piece stands at 2.7M by 2.5M. According to the artist the piece took roughly seventy-five hours to complete.

Every once a while a song comes along that manages to give you goosebumps. Whether it’s a personal relation with the lyrics or the guitar riff, there’s always something about it that manages to make you stick it on repeat. Mumford and Sons have not only managed to give us the chills but raise the hair on the back of our necks with this, frankly, beautiful single titled The Cave. The British quartet don their finest suits for a spot of easy riding around India. The single is part of the album titled Sigh No More which was released in the UK on the 5th of Oct’ 2009. The album was also recently released a couple of days ago in The States on 16th Feb ‘10. We highly recommend purchasing the album.
