Valentine’s Day
Now we know that all our readers haven’t been happily in love for the past seven years with no complications, but it’s Valentine’s day and that can only be a good thing right? Today is ‘Point-Out-A-Single Day’ and that means that today we’re bringing you a different kind of compilation. There are no designers or illustrators in this post because they don’t celebrate Valentine’s day! We’re only messing around. On the other hand, we’re dead serious when we say that no one likes the kind of couple that begin snogging out in public. That kissing soon leads to groping and everyone within fifty yards begins to feel awkward. However, we’re also aware that everyone loves beautiful sunsets, puppies, kittens, sunrises, hearts and of course Robert Pattinson. Okay, maybe we’re pushing it with Pattinson but as long as no one complains about the kittens, that’s fine with us. Also, a lot of people have been asking us who our Valentine is. We only see it fit to end the summary of this post on a cheesy note; so, it’s you, our readers. We love you. *Cue U2 – With Or Without You*

Clichés aside, we’ve all been on the pursuit of happiness. Whether it be intentional or unintentional, it’s in our blood. A collaboration between three gifted photographers; Egor Bashakov, Karina Eibatova and The Dopludo Collective named ‘Public Poster Project’ has provoked thoughts amongst the finest of philosophers. By doing as little as spreading simple messages with intriguing facts on them around their local town they’ve managed to get touch more hearts than fairies with pixie dust. There is, however, one poster that we disagree with. The poster reads; “Our society is not perfect, and that makes it beautiful”. We’re sorry but poverty, rape, greed, hypocrisy, sexism, abuse, hate, drugs, media and racial discrimination would be just a few amongst a million ugly things about society today. Having said that, we appreciate your great work lads and ladesses.
